Before you pay

The questions worth asking before you pay me anything, answered.

Who owns this service?

Graham Marsland Pty Ltd owns this service, ABN 97 691 274 905. I am its sole director.

What does Graham earn from this?

Every price includes GST, which goes to the Tax Office. Stripe keeps a fee on each payment. What is left pays for the systems this service runs on, and for my time.

I have no other income. Those who pay make it possible to help those who cannot.

What does AFCA give you for free?

AFCA is free today. You can lodge with AFCA yourself on 1800 931 678 or at afca.org.au. takeyoursuperback.com has a free complaint form, and the Financial Rights Legal Centre gives free legal help to vulnerable consumers on 1800 007 007.

If AFCA is free, why would I pay you?

You do not need to. AFCA is free, and Take Your Super Back has a free complaint form. What stops most people is writing it up and working out the loss. That is the part I do. You see your estimate before you pay anything.

What happens to my answers?

They are used only for your complaints. I never sell them. I share them only with the services named in my privacy policy, which this service needs to work. They are stored in Australia, and I delete them if you ask.

My privacy policy

Are you licensed, and does anyone else pay you?

I do not hold an Australian financial services licence. I take no commission and no referral fee from any firm, fund, lawyer or other service. The only people who pay me are the people who choose to.

Have you sold anything to people in these collapses before?

No. I have never sold anything to anyone who lost money in Shield or First Guardian. This service is the first thing I have offered them.

What has the price been?

Until 29 October 2026 this site showed $997 once, or $1,300 paid by the week. The only payments at that price were three tests by me, all refunded. Since 29 October 2026 it is $1,650 however you pay, and the plans no longer cost the poorest more.

The record so far

Delivered free under hardship: 0. Refunded: 0.

Counted from 29 October 2026, when this service opened. As at 31 October 2026.

If AFCA decides in my favour, who pays?

If the firm that gave the advice cannot pay, the Compensation Scheme of Last Resort can pay up to $150,000 per person per AFCA determination. It is funded by a levy on financial firms, and it is slow. You cannot be paid twice for the same losses.

Who answers my e-mails?

Your e-mails come to my own inbox and I answer them myself.

Will you put me in front of a journalist?

Nobody who uses this service will be introduced to a journalist, quoted, or named, whatever the story is worth. That includes anyone who received a free place.
