Privacy Policy

No Aussie Left Behind is a document preparation service operated by Graham Marsland Pty Ltd (ABN 97 691 274 905).

Last updated: 10 August 2026. Effective: 18 April 2026.

Who we are

Graham Marsland Pty Ltd (ABN 97 691 274 905) (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian company providing a document preparation service that helps consumers affected by the collapse of the Shield Master Fund and the First Guardian Master Fund prepare AFCA complaint documents to lodge themselves. Director: Graham Marsland. Registered office: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

We are an APP entity under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What personal information we collect

We collect the personal information you provide directly to us through the intake form, the waitlist field on our home page, and subsequent correspondence:

We do not ask for your date of birth, tax file number, driver's licence, or bank details. Stripe handles any payment directly if you purchase the paid complaints bundle — we never see your card details.

Why we collect your personal information

We collect your personal information for the sole primary purpose of preparing an AFCA complaint document for you to review and lodge yourself. Specifically, we use it to:

If you ask to be told when the service opens

Separately from preparing a complaint, you can leave an email address or an Australian mobile number on our home page so we can tell you when the service opens. We use it for that one purpose. We do not use it for anything else, we do not add it to any other list, and we do not give it to anyone else. It is not linked to a complaint, because at that point there is no complaint.

You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing graham@noaussieleftbehind.com, and we delete the record itself rather than marking it inactive. We also delete it when you unsubscribe, and we delete the whole list if the service does not open. Otherwise we keep it until we have sent you the message you asked for.

How we use AI (APP 1.7 and APP 1.8 disclosure)

The document is compiled by software I built, from your own answers, published sources and AFCA's published loss approach. No AI model writes any sentence of the document. We do not send your answers to any AI model to write the document.

We use Anthropic's Claude — a large language model developed by Anthropic — for one optional feature only: if you dictate or type an answer and tap “Tidy what I said”, that text is sent to Anthropic to suggest corrections to what the microphone got wrong: punctuation, capital letters, names, and words that were misheard. Nothing is changed unless you tap “Use this”, and you can undo any single change. If you never use it, none of your text is sent to Anthropic at all.

The document is generated and emailed automatically. No person reads it before it reaches you. You are the first person to read it.

The computer program does not make the decision to lodge the complaint. You review the draft, you decide whether to lodge it, and you lodge it yourself at afca.org.au. If the draft is materially inaccurate you may edit it before lodging, or email us and we will revise and resend.

The text you dictate or type is sent to Anthropic's API only for the duration of a tidy suggestion you asked for, and is not used by Anthropic to train its models (zero data retention is enforced by our API configuration).

Who we share your personal information with

We share your personal information only with the following service providers who are bound by their own privacy obligations and process data strictly on our instructions:

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)

Your personal information is stored in Australia. Our database and the documents we prepare are held by Supabase in its Sydney region (ap-southeast-2).

Some of the service providers we use to process your information are based overseas, all in the United States: Anthropic (suggesting corrections for the optional voice/text tidy feature), Vercel (running the application), Resend (sending email), Twilio (sending the verification code to your phone), and Stripe (processing payment if you buy additional complaints). By using our service, you consent to the disclosure of your personal information to those providers for those purposes, under contractual protections. We take reasonable steps to ensure these overseas providers handle your personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through our contracts with them.

If any provider handles personal information in a manner inconsistent with the APPs, we may still be liable to you under APP 8.1.

How long we keep your personal information (APP 11.2)

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to prepare your draft, and for seven (7) years after your complaint is lodged, consistent with ASIC Regulatory Guide 104 record keeping guidance. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see below), subject to our right to retain records required by law.

Incomplete applications abandoned before phone verification is completed are de-identified within 30 days.

Phone verification records are retained for 30 minutes only and then automatically expire.

A contact you leave to be told when the service opens is deleted when you ask, when you unsubscribe, or if the service does not open. Otherwise it is kept until we have sent you that message.

Security (APP 11.1 and APP 11.3)

We use HTTPS for all web traffic. Personal information is stored in Supabase in the Sydney region (ap-southeast-2), in Australia, with row-level security, with access restricted to the Director of Graham Marsland Pty Ltd. We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk profile, including access controls, encryption in transit, minimal data retention, and staff training. We cannot guarantee absolute security; however, we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, and unauthorised access.

Your rights (APPs 12, 13)

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may:

To exercise any of these rights, email graham@noaussieleftbehind.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us at graham@noaussieleftbehind.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

The public counter

The public counter on the homepage is an aggregate count derived from lodgement confirmations; no individual data is shown.
